LINDENHURST, ILLINOIS —The Illinois Cannabis Patients Association and Americans for Safe Access will host an informative meeting and discussion on Senate Bill 1381, the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act. This bill has made it through the state Senate and is currently pending in the House of Representatives.  This meeting will take place at the Lake Villa Public Library, 1001 E. Grand Ave., Illinois, on Monday, April 5, to begin at 6:30 p.m. 

Research supporting the medical use of cannabis will also be presented and discussed.

Legislators who serve Lake County, Illinois, are being encouraged to attend so they may better serve their constituency. This meeting is open to the public.

         WHEN: Monday, April 5, from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m.    

         WHERE: Lake Villa Public Library, 1001 E. Grand Ave, Lindenhurst
