Thank you for your email regarding Medical Marijuana.

Over the years, legislation to legalize medical marijuana has been
introduced in the General Assembly.  The most recent bill introduced
 last
year was defeated.

I have several deep concerns regarding the implementation and execution
 of
legalizing the drug for even limited purposes.  Until the sponsors and
advocates of this bill can ensure that marijuana will not be abused, I
cannot support legalizing this drug.
