CHICAGO — A free screening of the award-winning medical cannabis documentary, "Waiting to Inhale," takes place Jan. 18, 7 p.m., at the Peter Jones Gallery, followed by a panel discussion featuring local medical cannabis patients and advocates.

    Winner of several awards, including the Worldfest Houston 2005 Goldfest Special Jury Award, Best Documentary 2005 New Jersey International Film Festival and winner of the Eureka! International Film Festival, "Waiting to Inhale" examines the debate over cannabis's use as medicine in the United States. It features interviews with leading researchers, patients, advocates and government officials.

                -    WHAT: Free screening of the medical cannabis documentary "Waiting to Inhale," followed by panel discussion.

                -    WHO: Scheduled panelists include Dan Linn, medical cannabis law advocate and event organizer. Other panelists will be announced prior to the screening.
