LEAP on Fox: Former Seattle Chief of Police Discusses Legalizing Drugs |

LEAP.cc is an international organization of former "drug warriors" with a speaker's bureau and Jim Gierach of Illinois is one of its speakers. In February of 2009 he spoke in Ohio at Cincinnati University, OSU in Columbus and at the Gahanna City Council. Most recently Gierach presented at Northern Illinois University (NIU).
Chief Stamper, who was interviewed on Fox-TV on 2/20/09, and Gierach, jointly presented the benefits of legalized and controlled drugs over the prohibition model before the Chicago Sun-Times editorial board in 2007. They are still seeking an audience with the Chicago Tribune.
